FDA to Regulate Breast Milk Banks Soon?
I found this on the MSN website:
Search: Breast milk sharing concerns
The Food and Drug Administration may begin regulating breast milk banks. Most of the banks are nonprofits, but for-profit banks are emerging.I don't trust the FDA quite honestly... they have let too many bad drugs mainstream society and seem to have repeated ethical issues with pharma companies. Why now? What has happened recently to warrant a possible regulation? Is the FDA trying to capitalize on a growing industry? These are questions I'd like answers to...what do YOU think?
More:
Many health experts have milk-sharing concerns.
An HIV warning was issued.
The FDA already regulates the billion-dollar infant formula industry.
