A Mother’s Day Craft Idea
My children have never been able to wait until mother’s day to give me their thoughtfully, crafted handmade crafts that they’ve created at school. True to form my 8 year old son, hands me his artistically, colored gift bag the minute he walked in from school. “Happy Mother’s Day!”, he exclaims, and proceeds to open the bag for me. :) I love it.
This year’s craft was just simply ingenious that I had to share with the rest of you.
Looks like a fake flower in a pot of rocks right? Wrong!
It’s a pen! Specially for mommy! LOVE it!
Here’s a close up.
A pot of rocks. Here’s where you can have fun. You can add whatever rocks you like. Maybe for you dads out there, add a diamond amongst the rocks for a BIG surprise!
All together again! Its so simple, there’s so much you can do with it. I just like the fact that it distinguishes a pen for me from the rest of the pens! It can be hard finding a pen in this house sometimes!
In the spirit of my children, Happy (Early) Mother’s Day!
This looks like a really cute idea. I always get my mom ferns to hang on her porch. Who knows, maybe I'll surprise her this year with a crafty flower! Actually, that would surprise me more! Following from Voicebok.

Heading over to visit your blog! Thanks for stopping by :)
I am following you back. Those pens are great. our pediatrician had a pot of them on the counter that patients use to sign in. Needless to say, no one accidentally steals them:)
