2011 State of the Blogosphere Survey

Technorati.com is compiling a “State of the Blogosphere” report. They say it’s the “most comprehensive resource for bloggers, and about bloggers”. The survey is now live.
I decided to take the survey, because I wanted to lend a hand in shaping in what seems to be a growing relationship between bloggers and brands who seem to have a new-found respect for hard working bloggers. Those of you who blog for various reasons, know the time and effort that goes into a blog. TheOliveParent is my eighth child… yes it my baby. Created to my satisfaction, by my hard work.
The survey is fairly medium/long in length, 15 to 20 minutes, which is pretty long for someone who has little time, but I really liked the questions asked.
Some the questions the survey asked….
Historically, how would you characterize your interactions with Brand representatives?
How do you prefer to work with brands?
Did you disclose on your blog that the content was sponsored or paid?
Are you aware of the 2009 FTC ruling?
The results will be revealed on Friday, November 4th.  Click here to take the survey.
