Dream a Little Dream for Them
I have such high hopes for my children. I want them to fulfill their dreams and see their goals come to life. I teach, scold and explain just for that purpose. As parents we center and work our lives around that dream of success, so it's nice to see the UPromise To Dream sweepstakes, reward parents for just that!
UPromise, a rewards program that helps pay for college through your everyday shopping, is celebrating it's 10th anniversary, by doling out $20,000 in cash! Sharing your story of a dream for your child, could win you a prize of $1,000 or the grand prize of $10,000.
Entry is easy. Just go to the Dream Wall destination and submit your dream. Once I composed my dream, I submitted a valid email address, a "nickname", answered a question or two and that was the end of it. You can also read and vote for other dreams, the dream that gets the most votes by September 29th, will take home the grand prize. Read the dream wall official rules here.
I wrote a "dream" about my daughter who is now a senior in high school. She is hearing impaired and is fully mainstreamed in regular classes. She takes advance placement classes and is heavily involved in Forensics, a type of speech club. Her attitude, the fuel of her ability to overcome, is truly the stuff of success. It is my dream to see her hard work and perseverance rewarded in fulfillment of the personal philosophy my husband and I instilled in her...the only real problems there are in life are attitude problems.
