Applegate Naturals Chicken Nuggets Giveaway!

Browsing through the store the other day, I sudden felt a bit overwhelmed. Shelves upon shelves were lined with choices of food, but they all screamed “Processed!” It’s truly amazing how processed and unnatural foods have become! So when I had the opportunity to try Applegate’s new frozen, natural chicken nuggets, I was excited to try them out.  I typically buy their deli meat at Trader Joe’s, but had never experienced their frozen foods.

What Makes These Nuggets Natural?
No Antibiotics Used • No Added Growth Hormones • Humanely Raised Vegetarian Grain-fed Diet • No Nitrates or Nitrites Added • Casein Free

The Ingredient Listimage
INGREDIENTS: Chicken, Water. Contains less than 2% of the following: Cornstarch, Salt, Natural Flavor (Oregano). Breaded with: Wheat flour, sugar, yeast, soybean oil, Salt. Battered with: Water, Wheat Flour, Cornstarch, yellow corn flour, salt. breading set in vegetable oil. CONTAINS : WHEAT

These nuggets are wholesome, clean-tasting chicken. If you’ve ever had vegetarian, grain-fed chicken, you know the difference between chicken that is, well…not.  I really enjoyed them. More importantly, my family LOVED it. I asked my children what they thought of it. They gave a very simplistic, but genuine two-thumbs up. My only critique would be bigger nugget sizes. Kids aren’t the only ones who enjoy an occasional dish of nuggets dipped in honey.  I will definitely be casing the  freezer section for these bags in the near future.
