Is the question tackled by The Nourished Kitchen in an eye-opening interview with the author of the book Cure Tooth Decay.
The Nourished Kitchen is an laudable site, dedicated to informing, sharing recipes and valuable resources on whole, raw and nutrient-dense foods. Jenny, owner of Nourished Kitchen explains a bit about her site...
"An advocate for farm fresh foods and sustainable agriculture, I believe that food is something worthy of celebration. Alongside my husband, we’ve nurtured and grown our local foodshed – connecting small family farms with an eager customer base through our farmers market. Together we created and manage a lively, progressive farmers market in the heart of Colorado ski country that nourishes our community. With an unshakeable belief that everyone deserves access to high quality, nutrient-dense foods we’ve spearheaded programs that provide free food to low-income residents of our community and steadily supply our community’s foodbank with wholesome, sustainably grown local foods. Real food takes real work. And it’s worth it." - Read MoreI absolutely LOVE that they provide REAL HEALTHY food to families with low incomes. I have found pantries and food ministries, while well intended and well-meaning, ultimately purpose-defeating...in giving free, processed, canned foods to those with challenged budgets.
Jenny interviews Ramiel Nagel, the author of Cure Tooth Decay on video. She provides a host of resources including a video transcript of the interview. I must add, as a hearing impaired individual, I TRULY appreciate the video transcripts! Stop by her site and watch the video. Subscribe to her newsletter. I signed up a month ago and I have not been disappointed!
