Natural Gift Ideas: Auromere Home Spa Giveaway

It is so important to take time for yourself.

As a work-at-home mom with seven beauties to care for, this essential fact is often left on the wayside. ”Me time” to luxuriate and pamper, is more than just “taking a break”. It can be empowering. I’ve had my most profound thoughts during these moments.

Having the components for a home spa available for me to use, when that rare hour makes itself available, is a far more attainable goal than an expensive, full service spa facility. I’ve used many spa treatments at home, Auromere provides some of the best rejuvenating, at-home experiences. Ever.

Auromere Ayurvedic Imports started as a small community-owned business that became one of the first companies to introduce Ayurveda to the U.S. Auromere’s mission is to bring the ancient spiritual and traditional healing wisdom of India and a higher consciousness within reach of our modern, fast-paced lives. More than just natural, the wild-crafted herbs and minerals used within the recipes are noted for their unique beneficial and rejuvenative qualities. The purity and effectiveness of the Ayurvedic Ingredients, formulations and manufacturing procedures make Auromere products distinctively different and delightfully powerful for maintaining health, well-being and beauty.

Auromere’s Herbomineral Mud Bath is simply an amazing creation of nature. There are so many uses for this clay. You can use it in place of soap in the shower. The scent is wonderfully embracing. I love the gentle-exfoliating action. I use it more as a face and hair mask than anything else. It leaves your skin so supple and renewed as it draws in nutrients from the clays. The clays also behave as detoxifiers drawing out impurities and toxins. Herbomineral is made up of for different exotic clays: Red, Yellow, Black and Fuller’s clay. This is mixed with 12 Ayurvedic herbs…Indian Gooseberry and Mango Ginger to name a few. The 16 oz. jar comes with a scoop and the cap doubles as a bowl for mixing, making this the ultimate at-home spa. If you’re impressed with this, you’ll be amazed to know that the recipe for Auromère Herbomineral has been formulated according to the ancient Ayurvedic scriptures and passed down through generations in a single-family line, entrusted exclusively to Auromère. Still today, the family who originated it carefully prepares this precious formula for Auromère. Wow.

As an African-American woman with a psoriasis scalp condition, I’m extremely selective when it comes to hair care. I’ve eliminated use of shampoos and opted for clay for cleaning and conditioning my hair. Even the natural, organic formulas don’t appeal to me. I’ve struggled with this condition since my induction to motherhood. I go basic with hair care. Using straight coconut oil, shea butter etc. I was a bit nervous to try Auromere’s Pre-Shampoo Conditioner, quite honestly seeing as how I don’t “shampoo”. I have to say I was blessed to have this wonderful product included in my hair care system! No, it didn’t “cure” my condition, but certainly provided added relief and management options. I used it both as a conditioner with my hair mask and a moisturizer whenever I needed it. Just a few drops of this is certainly enough. The Pre-Shampoo is fragrant-free. The natural scent of the oils (which I LOVE) comes through.

To create the ultimate at-home experience, I light up a stick of their incense. Their incense are made from fine essential oils, fragrant herbs, powders and resins, ranging from the most heavenly floral fragrances to the down-to-earth woody and herbal scent of the Ayurvedic preparations. Each stick is rolled by hand and packaged in 100% handmade, recycled paper.

The Auromere Massage oil is a cold pressed Sesame Oil infused with 25 potent Ayurvedic herbs, botanical extracts, oils and minerals prescribed for their deep-penetrating, beneficial action for therapeutic massage and skin preservation. The smell is mellow, soothing and herbal. The ingredient list is pretty impressive. Sandalwood, Musk Root and Country Mallow graces the list, but what stands out to me the most is Rock Salt. Salt, when unprocessed, is full of minerals which is so beneficial to you inside and out. I use Sole` everyday and I was excited to see Rock Salt in the ingredient list! One of the recommended uses for dry and problem skin conditions was to rub the oil on the skin before showering. I did just that. Amazing. No need for lotion with this method.
