Crayola’s Original 8 Are Celebrating Their 110th Birthday

I don’t know about you, but as a home schooling mom, I LOVE Crayons. Crayola has been a staple in my home, although I do use other varieties of the brand.

I remember those “first days of school” when I would proudly open my brand new box of Crayola crayons. For at least a day, I went through great pains to ensure the tips were sharp and the box wasn’t scuffed…until of course I was inspired by a beautiful rainbow or another image I wanted to capture in color.

My children have created many a stick-figured pictures that I’ve stored for memories…temporarily on the fridge, or in a drawer for safekeeping with Crayola crayons.
