Organic Exotic Neem Body Butter Giveaway!
Its about that time of year for us, when the weather becomes a bit drier and cooler. Our skin needs more dense and deeper penetrating moisturizing action during the fall season.
Sure…there are a lot of natural choices out there, but have you heard or tried a relatively unknown emollient that can easily be considered a jack of all trades?
Neem oil, which hails from the Neem tree is no one-trick pony. It’s a master of multiple abilities. The oil is used very effectively in a number of different scenarios…
- Skin Care
- Hair Care
- Pet Care
- Gardening
- Dental & Oral Care
- Insecticide
What makes Neem oil THE choice for dry skin is the simple fact that is not only a moisturizer, but it has other benefits too!
As a moisturizer it is high in Vitamin E, rich in emollients, fatty acids and has high levels of antioxidants. It boasts of antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties which works well in various skin conditions. Neem oil is a recent addition to my natural care armory and I could not be more pleased with it.
Just like with any other product that you consider spending your hard-earned dollars on, not all Neem oils are created equal.
This is where Organix South comes in…they are the nation’s primary manufacturer of Certified-Organic Neem products. They lead the way by incorporating Supercritical CO2 extracts into their personal care products. This extraction technology uses carbon dioxide (CO2) to capture more of the delicate phytonutrients from a plant to yield a super-concentrated, pure and therapeutic extract. The purity comes by using carbon dioxide gas as solvent which is a safer, better alternative than traditional herbal extraction solvents like hexane and acetone. Hexane and acetone often leave harmful residues in the finished product.

ReplyDeletewell if the oil has high vit. e i wonder how it would do for scars ... i've had a couple of biopsies recently so would love to reduce the appearance of the scars from that as much as possible and the body butter ... does it count if someone else uses it on you? lol i could go for a massage : ) Oh hubbbby...
ReplyDeleteOne of the MANY benefits of Neem oil is that is does reduce the appearance of scars or "dark spots". I can't say that the body butter will do this for you for sure, but Organix South does sell a Fade Cream that I've yet to try.

ReplyDeleteScalp treatment because it is high in Vitamin E, rich in emollients, fatty acids and has high levels of antioxidants and can be used as a shampoo or skin care.
ReplyDeleteI use it for acne on my face and also as a scalp treatment because I tend to have dry flakey scalp.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter has chronically dry skin, I would love to start a bedtime ritual with her with something like this. Lotions don't seem to be doing the job, so maybe something organic would? Thank you for the chance!
ReplyDeletemy husband and i would use it on hair
ReplyDeleteI would like to use it for my hands. :)
ReplyDeleterandomly came across this. Commenting in hopes that its not to late to submit my entry. Trying to transition my entire life into a more holistic and natural one without the means and this would be a great start. Thanks for the consideration.
ReplyDeletecuticles and all over my hands. i love homeopathic and natural derived products. interested in the scent of this one!
ReplyDeleteRaw Neem Oil has a very particular scent...some says it smells of garlic and peanut butter. I think it has a subdued garlic smell.
DeleteIn the body butter, you DO smell the Neem because this product is free from synthetic or other fragrances, but it is not as strong as it is combined with other ingredients. I smell the Shea butter more than I do the Neem. Personally speaking, smell of Neem doesn't bother me at all. I've been using Neem for months (lotion, soaps, oil etc.) and can tell you that the benefits far out weigh the smell.
Best Wishes!
Id use the neem oil as a hair treatment like before I showered. and the body butter I'd use all over after a shower. We have super dry air and dry skin issues where we live:)

I would use it on my hands because I have terrible eczema.
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say thank you so much for this giveaway! I received my package last week. I couldn't wait to open it up and try the Neem Body Butter. The strange weather here in Southern California has caused my hands especially my cuticles to suffer. I've been applying the Neem Body Butter nightly after my hand and foot scrub. I can feel a complete difference in the smoothness and texture. It helps to retain that moisture. Today I tried a little bit of the butter in my hair and it gave it a wonderful shine, not too heavy. It's an interesting smell. Very organic-y :) I am so pleased with my extra gifts, I plan on using a few of my samples as stocking stuffers! Thanks Again! You Rock!
ReplyDeleteBrandi B.
